INLEIDING

The specification of the F436 Washer Material Grade covers the chemical as well as the mechanical requirements for hardened washers in diameters ranging from 1/4″ to 4″ inclusive. The ASTM F436 Material are basically heat treated washers, which are for general purposes and structural use. The F436 Material Grade washers are well suited to be used with other specification fasteners like the A325 and A490 structural bolts.

Further, the F436 Material Grade washers can be used in combination with bolts like A449, A354, A193, A320, F1554 and whenever specified.F436 Material Grade are hardened flat washers which have a Rockwell Hardness value ranging between 38 to 45 HRC.
